1942 Piper L4J-65 Cub
This beautiful, historic Cub is believed to have served at the Battle of the Bulge in December 1944 as an artillery spotter and is presented in a specification as close to its war time livery as possible, correct to the smallest detail. It has recently completed an extensive nut and bolt rebuild and has flown approximately 50 hours since on engine and airframe. It has just had a service with Aircraft Restoration Company at Duxford to ensure she is in perfect working order for the new owner. She is an absolute delight and will fly hands and feet off in the cruise.
